Take 3

The last few days have been a bit of a blur. Ben Finney and I have been back and forth over the crown, drunk alot of coffee and getting some work done. Late night scoping, early morning filming, Brad Greenslade antics, ( more on this shortly) skating, more scoping and riding. Productive all round and shots in the bag for TakeOne, plus a few stills.

Levis BMX Vid.

Levis BMX Vid

Levis made the jump into BMX a while back, and their influence has made alot of dope things happen. They got Will Stroud on board ( 9 to 5 films ) and he's been in charge of producing both weekly clips and the release of their full length vid. Its left me speechless, absoloutley amazing.

Pablo Azocar

New Zealands two snow Maoris in a Azocar Comic. Word.

I've been meaning to do a post on this for quite some time. This year, a tall quiet natured man by the name of Pablo Azocar popped up in the snow scene down south, taking photos of everything in sight. Not only does he have the most extravagant photographers name in the world, but he's as tall as Robett Hollis and is super commited to getting the shot. Pablos crusing round Wellington now, go check out his work and blog over here.

New Zealand/Australian Mountainbike Film Project 'TakeOne'

The producers of New Zealands most successful mountainbike film 'How About It', are teaming back up to produce another mountain bike film for the Southern Hemisphere summer of 2008/2009, titled 'TakeOne'.

'TakeOne' is a revolutionary project delivering fresh mountain bike content for FREE. The project is broken down into two main parts, a mountain bike web cinema channel and a mountainbike DVD.

The mountainbike web cinema channel titled 'TakeOne Diaries' will be broad casted for seven months between January 2009 and August 2009, that's one episode a week for 30 weeks. These will contain behind the scenes of the film, interviews with riders, scene checks and more. Following this, the feature film 'TakeOne' will be released in a DVD format on the Cover of the September 2009 Issue of Australian Mountain Bike Magazine.

We have had alot of interest in this project and sponsorship opportunities are filling up very quickly. If you are interested in sponsoring this project please get in touch with Zeros&Ones Director Tim Pierce on the details below.

2four2six - mtb culture & creativity

A while back I was chatting to Lester Perry regarding starting up some sort of MTB Culture/Art/Scene site, something that does true justice to everything that is happening on mountainbikes, and a place to develop all ideas. Lester took a step forward and got the ball rolling with a blog. The aim is to get as many contributors as possible. Get in there Seb Kemp.
