Jed Mildon

The one and only Jed Mildon has put up a couple of edits of his riding on Vimeo. I got to shoot with Jed at the start of December for a couple of days, he constantly blew me away and these edits show where his riding is at. The footage I shot of Jed should be packaged into something and on the interweb in the near future.

Rockstar Farm Jam 2008 - Tick

The 2008 Rockstar Farm Jam is all over red rover. An estimated 1200 people rolled up to the Frew Farm, located just outside of Winton in the heart of Southland. Unfortunately the wind was blowing like sweet mothers raven which prevented the majority of bike riding happening, how ever the lads put on a show and many a stunt went down.

I was prowling round with my video camera, shooting a bunch of shit talking with Seb Kemp, a long with a tiny bit of bike riding. I will be editing this up, and probably plastering it somewhere in the internet thing in the near future.

Tama Easton popped up out of the blue, and apart from telling amazing camp fire stories about chemicals was snapping off cell phone shottas. Heres some stolen directly from ORRRRBBB.

Home sweet home

I arrived back in Wanaka last night after punching it down the coast from Nelson. Was certainly a memorable trip, huge thanks to Spoon and Paddles for putting me up.

I'm in Wanaka for a couple of days then down to the Farm Jam 08. Will attempt to update as much as possible.

Rain Rain Rain

Three of my five days in Nelson have been plagued with rain, and the other two full of injuries and wind, I love Murphy! Never the less we have a few shots in the bag with the big curly haired Nelson lad, Kelly Mcgarry. Heres some all time Isnaps.

Kellys been digging up peoples lawns.

The highlight of the trip, three men joined the 5hundy steak club.

Rockstar Energy Drink, Farm Jam 08

The 2008 Rockstar Energy Farm Jam is only a few days away folks. Dan just put a post up on the southernfreeriders blog, with some coverage in the Southland times. Seems one of my photos of Robbie Brown has crept in there and been splashed over the sports. Rockstar Farm Jam 08, 27th & 28th of Dec - BE THERE

Mcgarry

The weather has finally cleared up in Nelson after almost two days of torrential downpour. Kelly Mcgarry, Caleb Smith and I ticked off a few shots dispite the sloppy grounds. Bikes were snapped, fast food consumed, and knees bunged. Crazy day. Heres a few photos.

Lavender Gardens & Caravans

I've had an interesting trip up to Nelson, and arrived this morning. I picked up Caleb Smith in Blehiem, and we then spent the day in Nelson with Kelly Mcgarry. It pissed down with rain all day, but we went out and scoped some stuff out, Kellys been a busy man. Hopefully the weather clears soon. Heres some photos from the trip up.

I stayed in Kaikora for a night with Stef Zeestraten and his family, who own a Lavender Farm, it was epic. More on this later..

I shralped some kids bike jumps in Kaikora, got arse?

Trippin

So, I actually managed to stay away from a computer for the good part of a week recently. I'd planned a trip up North to take a break and catch up with some mates, it was a real good break away with alot of surprises, got some solid photos and video in the bag. In no particular order, heres a few snaps of what went down.

The last time I sore Paul Langlands I was 15, riding bikes at CastleRock and very envious of his ability to grow facial hair at a young age. A couple of phone calls later and we met up with Paul in Cambridge and he took us to some trails he's worked on.

The Lads

I also met Jed Mildon and got to do a couple of quick shoots with him. If you're a courier driver don't stuff with Jed Mildon.
I staye din the mount for a few days, did all the touristy shit, and the view was swell.

Chris Beverland was kind enough to put me up in Huntly, where I chilled for a couple of days on the farm. We got some dope transfers, and bull weighing footage, along with rainy day beers in Hamilton.

This was the first time I've seen Auckland and kind of thought it was beautiful. The Big Smoke.

This golden moment happened before I left Wanaka. Ben Finney and I were astonished as we drove by.

Liam Peter Ryan put me up in Auckland, and threw down some sweet fruit booting. First fruit boot shots in the bag.

Mini Moss Mountains, in some scummy Auckland creek.

Paul Langlands, clean shaven and throwing down.

Paul at the Cambridge skate park, which was interesting. Crazy trannies and cool lines, from a guy that I thought only rode dirt.

Jed Mildon, two words, look out.
