Jas Hancox just linked me up to this vid of Candid Thovex. Some of the lines in this vid are next level! Definitely worth hitting play. I'll be dropping a press release very shortly with an exciting announcement for a ski show Zeros&Ones will be producing this 2009 winter season with the one and only Jossi Wells, keep your eyes peeled.

markzibert.com

I was in a discussion with Briar Pacey from Pacey Production Company yesterday, when Mark Ziberts name came up. We were browsing the hassleblad magazine which features Marks work on an Adidas contract for the Beijing Olympics 'impossible is nothing'. The logistics of producing half of these photographs is retarded! Go check his website out to be astounded.

Life of Mein.

Thought it was about time I did a post on Jake Mein. Jakes an emerging photographer currently studying at Massey in Wellington. I've been bouncing a few mails off him, he helped spread the word about my exhibition. You may of seen a few of his pics floating around in Manual, his works tight. Its awesome to see another youth taking a punch at photography. His works dope, go keep up with his blog. The Life of Mein

Banned Three Trailer

Through the cracks.

Andy Wright has a feature up on twsnow.com called 'Through the cracks'. Its the slideshow above featuring some of his un used images from 2008. What alot of people don't realize is the amount of hammers that never get seen. Its awesome Andys put this out for the public. Scroll on through and enjoy.

All Over Red Rover

On Thursday April23rd I took down my first exhibition 'Perceptible'. All in all it was a great success. Getting to print my work nice and large and display it in a big space was an amazing experience. It was very interesting watching what people take from the imagery, and in what order the photos were viewed. Perceptible was open for just over 2 weeks and sore thousands of people filter through the gallery. Just under half of the exhibition sold and I'm now looking for homes for the other images. Interested? Get in touch. All images are printed on Lambda Prints, mounted to 12mm thick MDF ( with black painted edges ) and have split battens to mount. A perfect finished product ready for your wall!

I've been asked to do more exhibitions and some are already in the plans, more on this as the details are confirmed! A huge thanks to all the people that helped make this happen particularly the exhibitions sponsors, Burton, Gravis, NZsnowboard.com, Northface, Manual & Spoke.

Here are a few snaps from the last night the gallery was open. We opened up the gallery so that some kids on a FTB snowboard camp at snowplanet could come get a glimpse! Thanks to everyone that took the time to check it out.

Graeme Muray

Poached straight from Schpoke is an update containing Graeme Murrays new website. I got to meet Grame a couple of weeks back in Auckland. He came to have a look at my exhibition and shoot some fixies out of a chopper for Redbull. We caught up over a large savoury muffin & Coffee ( Hungover ) and had some interesting conversations. Its sick to see the paths he's taken and how much he is killing it! His website speaks for its self, so much diversity. I am truely inspired.

Danny MacAskill

Well, this is borderline postable, but its spreading through the internet like wildfire so I better join in. Theres some pretty legit stuff in here, pitty its trials, but its pretty ridiculous riding!

Kelly Mcgarry Pukeko Walk from Zeros&Ones on Vimeo.

Kelly Mcgarry let this one out the bag whilst I was staying at his house in Nelson last year. We all know he's a tall lad but what you may not know is one of his hidden talents. The Pukeko walk. Kelly Mcgarrys impression of this native New Zealand bird is nothing short of pure brilliance. This was also the maiden voyage of our ghetto dolly. Paul Langlands & Jed Mildon Video Edit

I've just uploaded a web res version of a video edit I put together from a trip in December last year. I flew up from Wanaka and shot for a couple of days with Paul Langlands and Jed Mildon whilst catching up with friends at Mt Maunganui. I also shot a few photos at the same time, one of which you can check in the latest 2020, a spread of Paul doing his trademark super seater, and below are some of the left overs. Get over to vimeo to check the video in its full girth HERE.

Perceptible Sneak Peak

Perceptible opened on Saturday afternoon and we are still partying hard thanks to Easter and Export33! The feedback has been great so far, and its been very enjoyable getting these images to people that usually wouldn't see them. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching people examine images and there varied reactions.

A few of the works have sold but there are still plenty for sale. All are very reasonably priced so make sure you get on in to buy a piece of history! All images have been printed on Lambda prints, and mounted on 12mm thick MDF, painted black with split battens for hanging. I got this done at imagelab and the results have been SUPERB! The end product is ready for your wall.

Perceptible is displayed in the main gallery at the Depot Art Space, 28 Clarence St, in Devenport Auckland until April 23rd. Heres some sneak peaks of the exhibition. Get there!

Export33 at Perceptible

I am stoked to announce that Export33 will be available for free at the opening of Perceptible. Export has been supporting New Zealand snowboarding athletes such as Nick Brown & Robett Hollis for many years, who both feature in the exhibition, so we’re stoked to have them onboard.
Export33 is a new product from Export. Brewed for 33percent longer, the beer is low in carbs, full flavored and less filling! The bottles will be flowing from 2pm, on April 11th at the opening of Perceptible.

Perceptible Postcards

There's nothing quite like receiving an old weathered postcard in the mail, so I decided to do a limited run of free Perceptible Postcards. The postcards hit the streets yesterday and are currently in circulation all around NZ. The postcard contains two images featured in the exhibition. The front features Liam Peter Ryan, and the back features the one and only Chris Blinkhorne. Get to the exhibition to see more and have the opportunity to purchase these images.

Below are a few photos of some of the shops with Perceptible Postcards, you should be able to find one almost anywhere. If not, get at me tim(at)zerosandones.co.nz and I'll post some out!

I got the cards printed at Geon. Epic service!
