Apologies for the lack of posts around here lately, I've been all over the show. Time for me to pick up the blogging game again!
I returned from Piha last night after a full on week of shooting cars, logos, interviews, news feeds, art, scenics, tits, arse, and a bit of surfing inbetween. It was a pretty intense week and rad to be working with the team at NZgreenroom. I will be shoooting the entire series with NZgreenroom, and we will be creating news feeds for the main channels, quicktime internet updates over at surf.co.nz, a television show consisting of four half hour slots on Maori Televison ( airing March ) and a feature DVD which will be distributed for free on a bunch of Surf mags.
Heres a bunch of photos from the week that unfolded.
First stop at Hyundai HQ in Auckland. Its pretty amazing that Hyundai continue with there support to NZ surfing in such tight times, and managing to achieve growth in an economic downturn! It can be done.
This pretty much sums up every morning, on sunrise to get the shuckers. I had the pleasure of meeting Richard, another camera operator who works shooting surf for Billabong.
Myself on the sticks on the beach! 50 frames and shuckers through the 2x tele = epic.
