Summer of Surfing Final'e

I have just returned from Port Waikato where the final round of the Hyundai Pro Longboard tour was held.

This summer has seen me follow the entire circuit with NZGreenroom Productions, filming a television documentary, DVD, and web updates. Its been an eye opener and completely different to my usual line of work. Huge thanks to Chris Kirkham, Reglan Low, Richard Reid, Trinitiy Ludlow and ofcourse Hyundai!

Four shows will be airing on Maori TV at 9:30 on Thursday nights, repeats will also be played at different times. ( First show aired March 26th ) The DVD will be distributed on the front of NZ surfing mags, and the quicktimes are all over the net. So go get into it and follow NZ longboarding.

To wrap it, heres a few snaps from Port Waikato.

Shooting travel sequences with the Hyundai Santa Fe has been fun, co ordinating shoots on public roads and confronting alot of traffic! We shot this bridge over the Waikato.

The Santa Fe makes great time accross the Harbour Bridge when someone forgot a camera bag.

Trinity, Richard and Regan watch the Documentarys first episode.

The view from our house at Port Waikato. Book a batch is amazing!

Petrol Pump, myself, Ginger Beer & the Waikato at high tide.

Setting up for prize giving. Michael Burling took home the win, and won the Santa Fe, how ever no one expected him to break into tears. Hah!

Hyundai know how to throw down a party. More fireworks than Wanaka at new years. Great times. Cheers!
